Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities for volunteer work at Nativity Catholic School and Parish. Our school thrives on the generosity of our parents and friends to help in many different ways!
- Hot Lunch Program: Help cook and serve hot meals to our students; time approximately 9:30-12:45. We will be glad to train. Contact Mrs Cook at kcook@nativityindy.com for more information.
- Library: We need library helpers to help children check out books. We also need volunteers for story time for 1st and 2nd graders. This only requires approximately 1-2 hours a week. No experience in library work for these programs is necessary. Contact Mrs. Scifres at kscifres@nativityindy.org for more information.
- Classroom Helpers: Aid teachers in small groups, individual instruction, needed classroom tasks. Best if arranged with the homeroom teacher on a regular basis. VIRTUS training required. Please contact the individual teacher for more information.
- Field Trip Chaperones: Arranged as needed by the classroom teacher
- Parent-Faculty Organization: Various opportunities to help throughout the year on Book Fair, Santa Shop, and other activities. Please contact Jamie Newett at newettfamily@ebgindy.com for more information.
- Stage Crew for Performances: Adult help is always needed to build sets, provide costumes, supervise rehearsals, accompany singers and more. Please contact Mrs. Hamm at mhamm@nativityindy.org to volunteer or for more information.
