Sacraments

Sacrament of Reconciliation:  Saturdays, 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.; other times by appointment

Baptisms:  Once a month. Parents' session is required. Call the Parish Office (357-1200) to make arrangements.

Marriages:  Congratulations! Please contact our Pastor at least six months in advance so that we can work with you, as you prepare for marriage.

Communion to the Sick: Call the Parish Office for arrangements.

Holy Orders:  Priesthood or Vocation as Religious Sister or Brother. Those considering entering the Priesthood or a Religious Vocation, please contact our Pastor or the Archdiocesan Vocation Office at 236-1490.

Sacramental Preparation

At Nativity we offer formal preparation for Reconciliation in the Fall Semester of Second Grade and for Eucharist in the Spring Semester.

If your child missed formal preparation for a Sacrament at the "usual grade level" and you wish to request that preparation, you should complete a Sacramental Preparation Request Form available from the Religious Education Office. An individualized program will then be developed for your child. Age appropriate groups are formed for this preparation. Call the Religious Ed. Office (359-6075) for a Request Form.

We invite young people who are in their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year of high school to enter formal preparation for Confirmation. The preparation usually begins in late summer of even-numbered years with reception of the Sacrament in the spring of the following year.
