Robert Kitchens has been hired as Nativity's new part-time Youth Ministry Coordinator. During the past four years, we have been developing our youth ministry program under the direction and guidance of our two Notre Dame Echo Interns, John Paul Lichon and Natalie Helfrick. With a good youth ministry foundation having been established, we want to continue and to enhance this vital program with a parish staff member. We look forward to growth and expansion of our youth ministry program under Robert's leadership and direction. Robert begins his ministry position as of July 1. His will be a familiar face to some of our families as he taught middle school religion here from 2005-07. Welcome, Robert!

As Catholics, we believe each of us is called in a special way to fulfill a purpose given to us by God-- a vocation-- through either married life, sacred single life, the priesthood, or religious life. Join us in our efforts to pray for holy vocations in our Church, so that all discerning their call will hear God's voice and respond with courage, and all those who have discerned their vocation will live it faithfully. In conjunction with the Archdiocesan Race for Vocations May 7, we're keeping track of prayers pledged in two ways: 1) you can post your pledge here http://nativityraceforvocationspledges.wordpress.com/ ; or 2) you can fill out a FORM and leave it in a designated basket at the entrance of Church. Pray for vocations!
